The Condition:
- Pain-sensing nerves have been damaged, irritated, or altered the nervous system misfiring a pain signal
- Neuropathies can be dealing with sensory nerves, motor nerves, and or autonomic nerves
- Common symptoms: Tingling, Numbness, Cramping, Pain, Off-balance, Sensitivity
- Potential Causes or Known Contributors: exposure to neurotoxins; injury or illness; medications; malnutrition
- Current treatment types include antidepressants, antiepileptic drugs, local anesthetics, opioid analgesics.
