Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
Depression is the constant feeling of being numb. It’s being numb to emotions, being numb to life.
- A mental disorder characterized by a sustained feeling of sadness or loss of pleasure and or interest in life.
- Can include changes in sleep, energy, appetite, weight, & psychomotor activity.
- This could disrupt sleep, produce feelings of in adequacy and even lead to suicidal thoughts.
- Sometimes referred to clinical or unipolar depression, evidenced by distinct lows or negative emotions.
